1-1 What is the difference between a User and a Seller.
Both User and Seller accounts are similar - Except that Sellers are able to add vehicle listings to their account.
Users & Sellers can

2-1 How do I sell a vehicle on this site?
You must register first, click on the signup button, select and click the seller button, then complete the details on the form.
2-2 What are the Costs involved?
The cost to advertise is free for private advertisers.
2-3 How do I place an ad?
After registering as a member you can enter your username and password in the member login box. then click login.
Once logged in you can add / edit your ad's details including your photos, price and vehicle description.
2-4 How do I upload photos to my ad?
Enter your username and password in the member login box. Once logged in click on 'Add Car Images'.
Loading Photos: Ensure your photo file-size is no larger than 1024x768 resolution or 500k, preferably less than 100k, (Large images will be resized).
Choose a photo from your computer by clicking the 'BROWSE' button. Then find the photo and double click on it, or select the photo and click on open. Photos are entered one at a time.
Click 'Submit'. The photo(s) will be uploaded into your advertisement.
To change a photo, upload the new photo as per the above steps.
You may select or change the order in which your photos will be displayed using the PHOTO ORDER boxes. No. 1 will always appear as the "Main Photo" your large ad view. Save changes to your photo order by clicking 'Submit'.
2-5 How long does it take for my ad to appear on IAMSA?
Your vehicle advertisement will be displayed on our website within approximately 24 business hours of completing your ad. Please ensure that the all details have been completed and submitted.
2-6 I've completed entering an ad but lost it before I finished. How do I get back in to finish it?
Do not create a new ad.
Login to the member section using your username and password. You should be able to access your ad and complete it. If you find you cannot access your ad, please email our customer support team and we will be happy to assist you.
2-7 How long does my ad stay on the website?
Your ad stays live on the website for 8 weeks. There are no monthly fees. Currently all ads are offered "Free to Private Sellers".
Login to your ad at least once a month, this ensures your advertisement remains active. This also ensures that our site advertisements remain current for buyers and sellers.
If your advertisement has expired - You can re-activate your ad by logging in then clicking on the "My Listings". Click on the reactivate my ad button. Your ad will then be re-submitted for approval.
2-8 My ad has been on iamsa.com.au for over 21 days and it's still not sold
Suggestions to sell your vehicle faster:
Login with your account details. Once logged in, you will be able to see statistics on how many times your ad has been viewed, the statistics can help you decide what changes to make to help you sell your car faster.
For example, if the statistics show that a lot of people have been looking at your car, but you're not getting enough enquiries, maybe the photos needs to be replaced with a better ones, or maybe you need to lower the asking price.
